The term ”house of prayer” was originally used by Jesus to describe God’s praying people, but in recent years the term has come to identify a specific kind of prayer community that gathers throughout the week for multiple hours of corporate prayer.

What is a House of Prayer?
The term house of prayer was originally used by the prophet Isaiah – and later quoted by Jesus – to describe God’s praying people (Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:13). In recent years the term has also come to identify a specific kind of corporate prayer ministry.
